1) What was your first impression of NCCU?

My first impression of National Chengchi University is that it was very well organized! Since I am studying Mandarin here, I have been working with the OIC. They have been very good at communicating and sharing information, so I felt very prepared to start classes. In addition, I think the campus is rather large, spacious, and has many unique buildings. I'm also excited to try the nearby shops and restaurants!

2) Please share a few things that you expect to do in Taiwan/NCCU.

I expect to be able to spend most of my time learning Mandarin and hopefully be conversational by the time I leave! Not only that, I hope to experience as much Taiwanese culture as possible and better understand daily life here. Since there are many opportunities here, I hope to immerse myself in Taiwanese arts and maybe learn calligraphy or an instrument.

1) What was your first impression of NCCU?

The first impression I got from NCCU was that it has such a huge campus. It holds many fields and courts for exercising, which are very useful if you only have short school days like me. Also a lot of foreign students  enroll in NCCU which is good for socializing.

2) Please share a few things that you expect to do in Taiwan/NCCU.

I expect to sharpen my  Mandarin skill, get to meet some new people and have loads of fun!

1) What was your first impression of NCCU?

I love NCCU’s Campus. My German university does not really have one  as it is spread throughout the city, so having a campus with everything more or less in walking distance is a new (and nice!) experience for me.

2) Please share a few things that you expect to do in Taiwan/NCCU.

I hope I can travel the whole island, but I am also looking forward to exploring the different districts in Taipei itself. At NCCU I expect to spend lots of time in the library - but that’s a beautiful place, so I don’t mind that at all.

1) What was your first impression of NCCU?

The natural environment of NCCU is VERY natural. I love that the hilltop buildings and dormitories are surrounded by nature. Whenever I look out of my window, I see a magnificent view of the mountain, sky and Taipei, which makes me want to start to go out for an adventure

2) Please share a few things that you expect to do in Taiwan/NCCU.

I will like to bring myself closer to all about Taiwan as much as possible and share unseen aspects of Taiwan to everyone through the content on my personal blog and also video platforms. I want to make people know more about Taiwan because there are many special stories that are worth exploring.

1) What was your first impression of NCCU?

The campus is surrounded by mountains and rivers, which is so close to nature. In addition, the view up the mountain is awesome — a great place to buckle down and study!

2) Please share a few things that you expect to do in Taiwan/NCCU.

I feel excited to step out of my comfort zone and improve my Chinese, and  I'm really looking forward to taste Taiwanese delicacies!
